Valrie McCarthy has been serving for a decade with Wycliffe Bible Translators Caribbean as the Scripture Engagement Officer in the Language Development Division. Her role includes facilitating the Taste of Translation program, where she fosters enthusiasm and understanding among individuals seeking access to the Scriptures in their native language. Valrie’s passion is driven by the desire to see Bibleless people groups enlightened through the provision of their own Bible, just as she has been.

Through her work, she advocates for linguistic inclusivity and strives to empower communities with the transformative power of God’s word. She is dedicated to the mission of ensuring every person has the opportunity to experience the enlightenment that comes from engaging with the Bible in their own language.
